The Church of Saint Andrew the Apostle, now the Vetralla Cathedral, is the city’s main religious building and stands as one of the finest examples of eighteenth-century Baroque architecture in Lazio.

The Church of San Francesco in Vetralla, the oldest in the town, was built in the 7th century and reconstructed in the Romanesque style in 1207 following its destruction in 1187. Located along the Via Francigena, it became Franciscan in the 15th century.

In the heart of the medieval village of Vetralla stands the evocative Church of San Pietro, whose origins date back to the 12th century, as evidenced by the ancient masonry and its position within the Castrum.

An ancient convent of the Passionist Fathers nestled in the woods of Monte Fogliano, in Cura di Vetralla (VT). Founded on a 7th-century Lombard oratory, it serves as the starting point for the Hermitage of San Girolamo.

In August 1955, lightning struck the oak tree under which the Montebello Lancers had taken shelter; they emerged unharmed. As a token of gratitude, the shrine was built and consecrated in 1967.
